It is “very difficult” for the Ukrainian army now, but it will “survive”. This was announced by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
“We are fighting for every part of the front, for every settlement. “Western weapons and equipment are helping us drive the enemy out of our land.”
Zaluzhny also once again thanked Ukraine’s international partners for the technical assistance, but also reminded that this support should continue.
“We need real weapons that can hit the enemy from a great distance. “And this can not be delayed, because the price of delay is measured by the lives of people who defended the world from racism,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Russia, it has intensified its operations in Donbass, trying to encircle Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye. But the Allied Operation Ukraine maintains effective command and control on this front.
US (ISW) experts said on May 15 that the Russian administration had apparently abandoned plans for a large-scale siege of the Ukrainian armed group in the Donetsk region and was now focusing its efforts on controlling the Luhansk region.
