Places that could already be vital for thousands of Ukrainians, deprived of water and electricity following the massive blackouts affecting the country. As Russia wages an energy war against Ukraine as winter approaches, concentrating its bombardments on strategic infrastructure to plunge the country into darkness, kyiv is getting organized.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced earlier this week the establishment of 4,000 “invincibility points” in all the countries. In parallel with the repairs on the affected sites, the government is opening these centers, open free of charge and 24 hours a day, which allow the population to warm up, when temperatures are already below 0°C, to recharge their phones , to have access to the internet and to pharmacies. Other openings are planned in the coming days.
