The Greek rower, who qualified for the first major World Championship final of her career by placing 2nd in the sculls semi-final with a time of 7:47.07, finished in 5th and penultimate place with a time of 07:54.21.
In a sensational final that took place on Friday 23/9, Ionela Kozmiuc from Romania emerged World Champion in the lightweight skiff, leaving in second place Martine Veldhuis from the Netherlands and 3the Jackie Kindle from New Zealand.
