A Nordwind Airlines plane flying from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh to Perm stalled during takeoff and returned to the parking lot. This was reported to the TourDom portal by one of the passengers of this flight.
The interlocutor of the publication noted that the Boeing 737-800 began to pick up speed, and then braked sharply and headed for the parking lot. An hour later, the passengers on board were returned to the airport.
“We spent almost eight hours waiting for the flight,” he emphasized. – There are no representatives of the tour operator. No one gives us information.”
According to the tourist, the airport staff told the passengers that the Russian plane had an engine failure and there was no backup board.
Later, the representatives of the carrier reported that the flight was canceled due to technical reasons.
“All services are provided to passengers in accordance with federal aviation regulations,” Nordwind added.
In early December, a Russian plane flying from Moscow to Samarkand changed course and was forced to land in Tashkent, another city in Uzbekistan. The plane could not land at the destination airport due to heavy snowfall on the runway.
