About 160 Marines surrendered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (APU) in Mariupol. On Monday, April 11, the correspondent of the war, Alexander Sladkov, learned about this, his story was shown on the 60-minute program of the TV channel Rossiya 1, reports the military correspondents of the Russian spring channel Telegram.
According to Sladkov, in the morning, the Marines simultaneously left the building of the Azovstal factory, where the Ukrainian military was sheltered. However, as the correspondent clarified, the surrendered representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was about five times more than the Russian special forces that met them.
Earlier on April 11, it was reported that fighters of the 36th Separate Naval Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, based in Mariupol, complained that their resources had been depleted and that the command had abandoned them.
