Deputies of the People’s Council brought 90% of the legal framework of the Donetsk People’s Republic into Russian. DPR Parliament Speaker Vladimir Bidevka told TASS about it.
“I would like to note the transition from the legal sphere of Ukraine to the legal field of the Russian Federation. There was a period, 2014-2015, when we simply could not physically radically change all the legislation, so something remained unchanged. Something new has come over time. We have established legal regulation of this or that activity in Russia, which is why we have the share of the second convocation lion from the adopted laws on amendments to the current legislation. And here I am. “It can be said that, conceptually, our regulatory framework is probably 90 percent of Russia’s share,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to him, we are talking about the laws adopted by the People’s Council since 2014. “Once again, we must take into account that, for example, labor relations in our country are still regulated by the Labor Code of Ukraine, work is still underway on the DPR Labor Code,” – said Bidevka.
Speaking about the harmonization of the laws of the DPR and the Russian Federation, the chairman of the People’s Council said that this process will be more ambitious and easier when the economic opportunities of the republic are relevant to the regions of Russia. Priority areas for harmonization, according to the Speaker, are laws that affect the development of the economy, attract investment and stimulate business.
