-

Seoul is waiting for the official visit of the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation, Yonhap reports. According to the agency, Ukrainian MPs are currently scheduled to arrive in South Korea in early July.

“The visit schedule will be regulated on the 4th of next month,” said the ruling People’s Party of South Korea.

The specific schedule of the Ukrainian delegation has not been agreed yet, as it is expected that all the necessary steps will be taken by the end of June. According to Yonhap, one of the purposes of the visit of the Ukrainian parliamentarians will be to negotiate humanitarian aid to the state against the background of the Russian special military operation on the territory of Ukraine. The agency also emphasizes that Andrei Nikolaenko can lead a delegation of Ukrainian MPs.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had asked South Korea for military equipment.
