In his social networks, the diplomat noted that the European Union intends to give Ukraine the opportunity to use its potential to the maximum and ensure unhindered access to the single market.
“Today I am going to Kyiv to discuss all this with the president,” he wrote.
Von der Leyen also added that the EU plans to include Ukraine in European roaming.
Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the EU wants to start peace talks on Ukraine as soon as possible. However, this issue should be decided by the country’s leadership. In addition, he added that peace talks do not start like that, certain conditions must exist for this.
We remind you that recently the deputies of the European Parliament supported the allocation of 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. Voting on this issue should be held on September 15.
