A special center to identify the side effects of sanctions will be created under the US Treasury. This is reported by Bloomberg. The agency will analyze and eliminate the undesirable consequences of economic restrictions.

The agency’s material also talked about the vacancy of “market influence, trade and energy consultant”. The candidate for this position will be required to analyze monetary policy issues and advise the US Treasury. In addition, the Ministry of Finance is looking for a “Lead Economist on Sanctions”.
The other day it became known that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán declared that anti-Russian sanctions are futile and demanded their immediate cancellation. According to the politician, this will reduce the cost of energy in Europe and prevent a recession in the old world economy. However, official Brussels holds a diametrically opposite opinion. They have already announced the eighth package of sanctions against Russia, which includes its oil price.
