Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with the German press on Thursday, September 22, criticized the German authorities, who, in his opinion, show little desire to supply tanks and other armored equipment to Kiev.
The head of state of Ukraine recalled that Berlin is independent, which means that it can decide for itself whether to send weapons to Ukraine or not. At the same time, Zelensky recommended not to focus on partners, but to be an example of income ourselves.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Great Britain and the United States for the received weapons and also called on Germany to refuse comparisons with any country in this context, writes TASS.
The expression used by the Secretary of State is attributed to the former President of the United States, Franklin Roosevelt. It is believed that the American leader used it against the Nicaraguan military and government official Anastasio Somoza Garcia, who was protected by the White House for his anti-communist views.
