The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported a loud explosion in the occupied city on the morning of September 23, when Russian-controlled administrations in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
“The terror of the conquerors is growing. At 7 a.m., a loud explosion erupted in Melitopolis, which was well felt by residents in the city center. People are afraid to leave the house. And this fear is in the hands of the occupiers – on the first day of home “voting” in the mock referendum, they need everyone to sit quietly at home,” Fedorov wrote in .
Later in the broadcast of the telethon, the mayor of Melitopolis added that there was an explosion in one of the nine-story buildings at night, “where, unfortunately, there are victims: one person died, one was injured.”

“The people of Melitopol should stay as far away from Russian military and enemy equipment as possible. Something is constantly exploding next to them,” Fedorov stressed.
