The Ukrainian army repelled attacks by Russian troops near ten residential areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the evening.
“During the day, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Kurdyumivka, Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Opytne,” reports the headquarters.
According to the General Staff, the Ukrainian air force also carried out 10 strikes – it was confirmed that they hit 6 areas where the enemy’s manpower and military equipment were concentrated, as well as four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems.
The headquarters reminds once again that the air and missile threat remains for the entire territory of Ukraine. During the day, the enemy launched one missile and two airstrikes, carried out more than 15 attacks from multiple missile launchers on military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.
More than 10 settlements – Yarova, Yatskivka, Pechenygi, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Beilohorivka, Myrolyubivka, Mykolaiv, Sukhy Stavok and Novogrihorivka – were affected by the Russian shelling, according to the summary.
Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine

Russian authorities say the military does not attack civilian objects. At the same time, the Russian air force, missile forces, navy and artillery bomb Ukrainian cities daily. Demolition of residential buildings and objects of urban infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine.
By mid-July, Ukraine estimated Russia’s losses in the war at more than 38,000 people. The Kremlin has not released figures for those killed in the invasion, but admits the losses are “significant”. At the end of June, President Zelensky estimated the ratio of Ukrainian and Russian casualties at one to five.
Having not overcome the resistance of the Armed Forces, the Russian units survived in early April from the territory of the Kiev, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
